Pastors are facing new challenges in a post-pandemic world—challenges that require a higher level of emotional and spiritual resilience. Our retreats are designed to equip you with tools to help you thrive in ministry, not just survive.
Our retreat, “Resilient”, will focus on bouncing back from the toll of ministry. Come energize your life, marriage, and ministry vision with us!
Doug and Marilyn Cuthbert
Doug and Marilyn Cuthbert serve as leader care specialists for Life Action and facilitators for Pastoral Retreats. Doug holds degrees in counseling and theology and spent 36 years in pastoral ministry, including work as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Alaska. Marilyn has a degree in Christian Education and taught in public and private schools for 28 years. Together, they’ve engaged in mission work across Peru, Russia, the Solomon Islands, China, and Mexico, focusing on ministry to pastoral couples. Passionate about walking alongside others in their stories of pain, hope, struggle, and joy, they encourage people to experience God’s love and guidance, believing He works “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” (Eph. 3:20). Doug and Marilyn live in Sister Lakes, Michigan, and are proud parents of four grown children and grandparents to 15.
