Doug and Marilyn Cuthbert
Doug and Marilyn Cuthbert are leader carer specialists for Life Action, and are facilitators for Pastoral Retreats. Doug has a degree in counseling and in theology and has served for 36 years in the pastorate. He also worked in Alaska as a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Marilyn’s degree is in Christian Education, and she has taught in public and private schools for 28 years. They have also been involved in mission work in several countries including Peru, Russia, Solomon Islands, China, and Mexico where they specialize in ministry to pastoral couples. Doug and Marilyn love to accompany people in their stories of pain, hope, struggle, and joy, and to encourage them to see how God loves and guides them “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” (Eph. 3:20). They live in Sister Lakes, Michigan, and have four grown children and 13 grandchildren.
