These father-and-son adventure weekends feature outdoor events jam-packed with activities designed to help dads and sons reconnect. You will make memories that last a lifetime. Spiritual principles are embedded into activities and athletic events to equip fathers and sons for the journey ahead.
Note: We recommend that sons be at least six years old for this event.

Jon Moorman
Jon has been involved in full-time ministry for 26 years. Seventeen of those years was in full-time pastoral ministry as a Family Pastor. He and his wife met when they traveled with Life Action Church Event teams in the early 2000’s. Jon and Carra married in 2005 and he entered his first pastorate a few months later. Eighteen years (and seven children later) Jon heeded the call from God to resign from pastoral ministry and return to his roots by taking a position at Life Action Camp. Jon has a heart to see families rooted and grounded in a passionate pursuit of the glory of God in their home. Through speaking, writing, and organizing events and activities for families, Jon serves in order to see this vision come to life and for God to be glorified in families and churches.

Matt Fredericks
Matt has been with Life Action for 18 years and currently serves as the Children’s Program Manager. Originally from Bethlehem, PA, Matt is grateful for the opportunity to serve in a ministry that encourages and inspires people to know, love, and follow Jesus. Life Action profoundly impacted his life and family, and he’s passionate about using his creativity and sense of fun to help the next generation grow in their faith.
