- hear from God today?
- trust Him?
- do what He says?
- help others seek and find Him?
Though you will not experience the full glory of knowing Him in this life, God wants to walk with you throughout your days on earth. He has not dropped you off and promised to “pick you up” later. He abides with you. He accompanies you. He leads you. He protects you. He goes before and behind you.
God is with you.
Are you mindful of God’s presence today, that He is near? Are you listening for Him to guide you? Are you seeking His will in all things? If you cross paths with someone who needs to encounter Christ today, are you prepared to represent Him?
Saying yes to God is a daily and even moment-by-moment positioning of the heart. It means calling your thoughts back to truth when they stray toward fear, unbelief, or selfishness. It means reminding yourself that God is in control and that His way is always right and always best. And sometimes it means intentionally setting aside time to cease all activity—to quiet your heart so you can hear Him.
The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry.
